Peace, quiet and tranquility in the Tuscan mountains

Pian dei Cesti is a beautiful, simple farmhouse hidden in the hills 20 miles north of the beautiful walled city of Lucca. The newer part of the house dates back to 1766, with parts much older. The interior has been simply modernised to make it comfortable without losing its character. There are four double bedrooms, one ensuite and a further bathroom and a shower room in the main house. In the garden, the Chestnut barn has been converted into a micro house which sleeps two.

The infinity pool looks out across the Apuan mountains and the from the newly planted garden you can see the medieval village of Coreglia Antilminelli, a half mile walk away. The house is perfectly secluded in the woods but is close to the typical local Tuscan villages and towns.
